Access Arts Hub Membership Sign Up

Access Arts Hub would like to meet energetic and passionate individuals or groups who are interested in contributing to the Hub and growing the agenda for accessible arts.

We currently meet every 3 months, with the 4 subgroups meeting at regular intervals. The subgroups comprise of the Disability Advisory Panel, Venue Managers, Content Providers and Audience Development.

Disability Advisory Panel: people with a disability with an interest in the arts; advise, provide feedback and also help to promote the efforts of the Hub within their respective communities.

Venue Managers: people working in venues who offer arts programming share challenges and attend the HUB to strategise for improved Access to venues.

Content producers: Companies, Producers, Artists and Individuals who currently and wish to organise accessible arts events; from storytelling sessions to visual and performing arts, who wish to better understand the adjustments they can make.

Audience Development: a joint group, pushing for better communication of arts events to PWD. Developing and improving websites, booking channels, listings and developing robust feedback platforms to support development.

Access Arts Hub currently offers two tiers of affiliation to the HUB at no cost.

TIER 1 - ACCESS SUPPORTERS

  1. Attend quarterly Access Arts Hub meeting
  2. Feedback any Access experiences to support the growth of Access in Singapore
  3. Support at least one accessible arts event in a year i.e. Closed captioning, SgSL, AD, Relaxed,
  4. Advocate Access Arts Hub & accessible arts events in your networks
  5. Offer venue support for meetings, if applicable (Individuals can offer recommendations)
  6. Contribute to sharing surveys to improve data collection
  7. Note. - No access to subsidised training fees.

TIER 2 - ACCESS CHAMPIONS

  1. Attend the quarterly Access Arts Hub meeting
  2. Join and attend one subcommittee group and actively contribute
  3. Execute at least one accessible arts event in a year i.e. SgSL, AD, Relaxed
  4. Contribute to planning, organising and execution of events, meetings and agenda items
  5. Provide learning journeys to HUB members as appropriate
  6. Advocate Access Arts Hub & accessible arts events in your networks
  7. Feedback any Access experiences to support the growth of Access in Singapore
  8. Support research and development for Access, sharing data as appropriate
  9. Offer venue support for meetings if applicable (Individuals can offer recommendations)
  10. Contribute to sharing surveys to improve data collection
  11. Note - Access to subsidised training if available
